Explain Data Access Storage Device (DASD) ?
Introduction
DASD का पूरा नाम Data Access storage Deviceहै जिसका use generally magnetic disk storage device में किया जाता है। Direct access storage device का सबसे ज्यादा use Mainframe, mini computers में किया जाता है साथ ही personal computer में भी इसका use किया जाता है। DASD personal computer में Hard disk drive में technology के लिए use किया जाता है।

Explanation
Data Access storage Device (DASD) की capacity storage पर depend होती है। DASD में direct access का meaning यह है कि sequently रूप से data को एक्सेस4 करना। अनुक्रमिक records की files को record करने के लिए एक disk का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है अगर files को sequently रूप से store किया जाता है तो data एक disk में ज्यादा संग्रहित किया जा सकता है। ऐसे condition में पहला files access on random base के आधार पर पहुँचता है तथा disk की क्षमता का random access use नहीं करता। सभी semiconductor memory ,RAM, ROM, PROM, Directly accessible है जो random access property रखते हैं।
